The Hood Incubator (THI) IS COMMITTED TO ENDING THE DRUG WAR BY 2040.

The drug war continues to rage in America.

Even in states with legal cannabis, drug war enforcement policies continue to disenfranchise millions of Americans, with devastating effects in Black communities.

There are over 48,000 draconian drug policies on the books that lock survivors of the drug war out of opportunity and limit their access to education, employment, public benefits, housing, child welfare protections, voting rights and immigration rights.

The Hood Incubator activates and empowers drug war survivors to end the drug war by 2040.

Drug war survivors, often unrecognized, are a powerful voting bloc, millions strong. They are a network that crosses gender, race, geography, and socio-economics.

Join us in our work to restore power in Black communities by ending racist and ineffectual drug war policies.

OUR WORK: ENDING THE DRUG WAR BY 2040

The eradication of all existing drug war policies is our pathway to racial justice and economic equity. We invite all members of the cannabis community voting bloc to join our mission and support Cannabis Justice…We freed the plant. Let’s free the person.

By building power in communities and growing high-wage jobs in the cannabis industry, we empower drug war survivors to make political change on the ground and in their own communities.

We train and support drug war survivors to be leaders in their communities.

We empower the legal cannabis industry to create high-wage and ownership opportunities for drug war survivors.

We partner with activists at local, state, and federal levels to eradicate all U.S. laws that negatively impact the lives of drug war survivors while supporting inclusive and equitable cannabis regulation.

SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT

The cannabis community is one of the largest and fastest growing voter blocs in the United States. We welcome the legal cannabis community to leverage their power in support of drug war survivors and the cannabis justice movement. We freed the plant. Let’s the free the person.
